WHERE I'VE BEEN: DISNEY WORLD, FLORIDA.

Have you ever felt like you've died and gone to heaven?

Have you ever felt like what's happening before you is truly magic?

DISNEY WORLD is definitely the place which will make you die and go to heaven.
DISNEY WORLD is definitely the place where the magic is true.

Post my HSC my sister and i took a trip to the United States for an experience of a life time. Travelling with no parents, in the United States who could ask for more. It was one of the best moments of my life. One of the most memorable places, at the top of the list is Disney World, Florida.

In a few words; Disney World is simply Magical~

Entering this magical world, i could feel my inner child explode within me and i felt like i was five once again. Disney World is fill with an array of amazing feats and aspects which i can barely begin to explain. Regrettably heaving only one day i wasn't able to cover all of Disney world, not even half.

The Places I Visited.

Magic Kingdom
This was by far the best part of Disney world and the place i spent most of the day in. Fun filled parades, performances, attractions, mascots and merchandise stores. I felt like they truly had everything for even someone as old as me could bring out her inner Princess.

Ever dreamt of the day when you become a princess and meet a handsome young prince who swoops you off your feet and you live happily ever after?

Magic Kingdom is your Happily Ever After.

The merchandise store were simply humongous. I felt like it would go on and on forever, and i would probably never find my way out. This is where you want to buy your princess costumes, tiaras, and props, as well as your Mickey/Minnie Mouse ears and gloves. One of these are essential to having an AWESOME time in Magic Kingdom or Disney World overall. I remember clearly running around from corner to corner, inch to inch, just wicking i could buy everything. Alas, being so popular everything was quite expensive, so i settled for a pair of Mickey Mouse Ears;

If i was a billionaire, i would buy the whole store!

Marching down the streets of Magic Kingdom were none other than Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Donald, Goofy, Daisy, The Little Mermaid, Sebastian, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White etc. All the disney characters you could name. All on their own specialised floats. I thought i was too old for parades, but these parade truly get your blood pumping, getting you excited to venture every single nook and cranny of Disney World. The excitement you feel when one of them get close to shake your hand or wave hello to you, is probably better than meeting Justin Bieber himself! I got to shake hands with Donald Duck! it was unexplainable!

The most spectacular feature of all, aside from the merchandise and the parade was... CINDERELLA'S CASTLE. Smack bang in the centre of Magic kingdom stood Cinderella's beautiful castle. This castle doesn't just stand in one spot and look pretty; once the sun goes down this castle just as cinderella transforms! A night performance is help as the sun moves away from the sky. The fairy godmother steps out of one of the tower windows and begins to perform a spell to decorate the castle. With a Bibidibop! the Castle lights up in beautiful fairy lights. Not only that but Fireworks begin to light the night sky. It was spectacular, i can barely explain it.

One last interesting feature, is the parking.
Yes, it's strange but usually, parking is divided into Section A, Section B etc. However, in Disney World they are divided into Villians and Heroes. Simple yet i found it so fascinating. We ended up parking in Scar from Lion King.

What did i do?
I regrettably was unable to join in on the attraction rides, however i did get to line up and meet almost all the princesses; Snow White, Cinderella, Rapunzel and Sleeping Beauty. These people were so in character you would truly think they were real, as if they had jumped out of the television and into reality. I really felt like i was royalty or a peasant/ordinary person standing next to them. My inner princess just exploded inside!

Epcot

Epcot is also a theme park but smaller, and as i believe based more on the films Disney had collaborated with other companies such as Pixar. Though Epcot is smaller i still believe it is worth exploring. Epcot is where i got to meet my childhood heroes; Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy. Not only them but also Pluto and Chip and Dale. I made sure to take a snap shot with all of them. I was zoo excited to meet them, even though i knew they were only mascots but it was just so excitin and i was completely immersed in the mood.

This is where you want to experience the effect of Disney on the real world. Numerous amounts of stores and restaurants filled with amazing products and foods that are "totally Disney-like". Ginormous stores such as Lego were really a sight to see. It was like a lego museum, every single lego and lego set was in the store, and amazing leg go statues that were put out around the store.

Walking down the streets i bumped into this cute sweets store. If I remember correctly, its called the witch’s cauldron. It had so many sweets and yummy looking candies. A range of different candied apples and many more, they also had a peeking window where you watch them make all kinds of candied apples.

Places I Didn't Get To Go To.
  1. Animal Kingdom
  2. Disney's Hollywood Studios

Regrets.

I truly regret not being able to take as much photos as i could have, had my battery been fully charged. I also truly regret the little amount of time i spent in Disney World and how little of the whole entire theme park i was able to explore.

Experience/Advice Tips.
From my experience i truly belie that one day, not even two days is enough to completely explore and experience all of Disney World.

Let me break down the rules of what you should do.
  1. Bring a fully charged camera
  2. Buy your Costume; whether it be Mickey Mouse ears or a princess tiara.
  3. Experience EVERYTHING - nothing is not worth the wait
  4. Give yourself more and 1-2 days to experience everything. If you're there spend your time wisely and visit everything!
  5. Take photos of EVERYTHING & EVERYONE!
  6. Bring MONEY!! you simply must has mementos to bring home.
Where have you gone, where your dreams came true?
